Choosing the Right SEO Tools – A User Review of Rank Tracker, Part of SEO PowerSuite

When you get into it, SEO generates a great deal of repetitive work and if you are reading this you’ll probably really know what I am talking about. As a start-up SEO procedure in South The african continent with a rapidly growing customer base there were set up pretty good systems to find potential customers, identify the real should be ranking for, look for long-tail keywords and generate a record showing the clients current ranking within the local Google S. africa search domain (Google really rules in our market). rank tracker

It was all managed via a combine of Excel Spreadsheets, Google tools, Adobe, Phrase Documents and the like. It was very speedy clear to us that with only 4 workers we would be working twenty-four hours a day to keep up. Signing our first discounts further put pressure on the customers service affiliate marketing with a need to generate ranking reports and track ranking history… any SEO company bread and butter.

So jumping on the web we evaluated a huge range of free and trial editions of SEO tools that covered rank checking, back again link analysis, keyword ideas and keyword efficiency indexing (KEI). These days there are good free tools out there but bringing this all along in package that was flexible and automated will not come free.

All of us settled on SEO PowerSuite from Link-Assistant, not cheap but worth every buck if you wish to immediately drive improved work-flow and efficiency. The package includes LinkAssistant, SEO SpyGlass, Website Exam and Rank Tracker. Most the software is outlined on the website but I’ll offer you a quick explanation on Rank Tracker which we use heavily:

First of all I has a complete (or rather the most complete) set of Search engines like google internationally, essential to all of us in South Africa, with local versions of Yahoo, Bing and our most significant local search outfit, Ananzi, covered.
Ranking is very easy to set up; as soon as the target website and keywords are loaded there are a host of features available to fine-tune how the ranking report should run. One of the main is managing the velocity at which Rank Tracker builds the automated queries to the search engines; the Human Emulation Settings allow the user to reduce queries and how many sequential events are run. If you’ve ever run large rank reports you’ll know that the engines simply fasten you out.
Once the ranking is performed Search volumes of prints for the neighborhood engines and competition pages can be simply loaded to give the KEI for each and every key word; all loaded onto an easy, clear and flexible survey screen.
Once the consumer has chosen keywords and you have closed that deal, Rank Tracker will store the historical improvement per keyword per google search – a powerful tool for reporting back to client and flagging potential issues with keywords.
Presently there is a keyword recommendation tool built in and easy ways to re-run reports for individual keywords on individual search motors.
Finally, all of the accumulated information can be located into a skillfully formatted report and made in pdf along company logo and contact details; with only one click (very cool! )
