Genuine content is unquestionably the way to go! To become alarmed to get greedy and combine in risky scraped content. It’s just not worthy of losing it all! scraping google
Quit calling me names! I actually is not only a “black hat”! Hey! I’m only individual! Cut me some slack! I’m sorry but We could not resist the temptation to include some scraped content pages to my highly successful music web site! I had no clue it would get banned by Google!
Oh yea well… sometimes you discover some lessons the hard way!
And the lessons is:
NEVER use scraped content over a REAL ARTICLES web site
Don’t use “scraped” or “borrowed” (some say stolen) content on a site you do not want banned. Really just not worth taking a chance that a good site will go bad and get prohibited.
I personally taking several of my highly popular and successful high Page rank hand made real content websites because I made concentrate on of including a handful of web pages with scraped search results. I’m not even chatting thousands of pages, just mere hundreds… nonetheless they HAD BEEN scraped and I paid the price.
It’s not worth risking your reliable sites position on Google and bing by including any “unauthorized” content. I regret adding the scraped search engine directory style pages (often referred to as Website Pages) because the amount of traffic the already popular sites lost was significant.
Trust me, if you have a successful site, don’t ever use scraped content on it.
Google wants to provide relevant results. Can you blame them?
Google re-defined the role of the search engine to the enamored open public, who became infatuated with it’s spam free results (less spam at least). Google also had a tremendous impact on SEO’s and internet marketers who had to adapt their businesses to harness the power of the site visitors that the monster Google and bing could provide. I have to admit for a short period I was sleeping and didn’t spend the necessary time modifying as I needs to have, and when my business income dropped to an all time low about 3 or 4 yrs ago We had a massive wake up up call.
Link Recognition and PageRank are the new standard
PageRank became the new standard for Google to rank web sites and it centered PR on a solution that was determined by how popular a web page was. The greater exterior links from other website pages with high PageRank to a page indicated this page was relevant and popular and for that reason Google considered it as important. Whilst they seemed to value lots of links, they seemed to favor backlinks from other high Page rank pages. You see, pages of content could pass on PageRank to other pages. Web sites that had higher Page rank would have an benefit and would in most cases rank higher than similar pages that were much less popular.
PageRank is PAGE SPECIFIC, not WEB PAGE specific. Each page has different PR.
While not as important as exterior links, internal links too cause a site moving PageRank. If the web pages have proper linking, the internal pages can also concentrate power to a tiny pair of pages, almost forcing increased rankings for the text message linked on those web pages.
Much like anything, the marketer community figured out that lots of links to a site could boost the rankings and link harvesting and linking schemes progressed in popularity. Also site owners commenced to buy and sell links depending on Page rank.
In the case We cited above, I added a directory of around 200 machine made internet pages to my popular music site with regards to trading backlinks. Since the directory menu was linked in each page of my six-hundred page site it obtained it’s own high Page rank. The pages had scraped content on them and I simply added links from partners to them. It worked for about 3 months and then suddenly the home site went from PageRank six to 0, and despite being in the index chart, only a dozen webpages remained indexed.
